Formed in 1996, Image Scan Holdings plc has the benefit of over 40 man-years of research in the field of X-ray imaging systems. The Company has a dedicated team of highly qualified physicists, software, electronics and mechanical engineers working together to produce innovative screening and inspection solutions for real-time security and industrial applications.
Image Scan has developed proprietary, modular software and hardware to provide innovative methods of acquiring, interpreting and presenting X-ray images. This technology has been developed to include three dimensional (“3D”) imaging capability, making analysis and interpretation of images far easier than with conventional two-dimensional (“2D”) X- ray techniques.
Image Scan’s products have been endorsed by world leading organisations such as the British Government’s Home Office, Rapiscan Systems Limited (“Rapiscan”), GE Healthcare (formerly Amersham plc) and Johnson Matthey.
