3DX-RAY Ltd named finalist in Security Excellence Awards

3DX-RAY Ltd has been named a finalist in the Security Excellence Awards 2004 for the 3D security screening technology it has developed.
Entered in the Best Security Innovation Category, AXIS-3D® was launched earlier this year and is the world’s first system to deliver real-time, 3D screening of bags and luggage, providing a much more realistic representation of objects while enabling the conveyer process to continue at normal speeds.
3DX-RAY Ltd chief executive Nicholas Fox is delighted with the achievement: ‘It has been an exciting year for the company in terms of getting new technologies to market and it is gratifying to receive this recognition in a category that reflects our core values. The winners of the Security Excellence Awards 2004 will be announced at a Gala Dinner at the Hilton Hotel in London on 13 October.
